About Us

The inspiration for GOSSI came after the founders, with over thirty years combined of industry experience, were ultimately disappointed in skin care. They both followed exceptional skin care regimens and used excellent skin care products. However, being nature lovers, they spent a lifetime as weekend outdoorsmen and found in their later years, an onset of multiple skin care issues; they realized the need to use many different treatment products to address them all. This was unacceptable.

Dissatisfied with current multifunctional products that delivered less than promising results, the founders were inspired to do something about it. After all, they needed product that would deliver performance beyond current products. The realization of a new approach was obvious.

Actives are responsible for positive changes that encourage healthy skin, whether its prevention, repair, or protection. Rather than rely on 2 or 3 actives that didn’t live up to the promise of covering the spectrum of vital processes of their skin, they entertained expanding to 6 or more actives. They needed a product with a variety of nourishing actives that could strategically target and support the many functioning processes our skin must maintain to enjoy optimum health and well being. The idea of a multiple strategy formula was born.

In order to formulate a product with 6 or more actives, and maintain clinically proven effective dosages, it would need a powerful new emulsion technology. They were also challenged with the goal of eliminating undesirable chemical ingredients that often interfere with an active’s efficacy. This required chemists willing to think outside the box. Finally, rather than formulating from a cost to profit ratio, the founders stressed a multiple strategy to efficacy ratio. They wanted a product that delivered performance!

Challenges are welcome at GOSSI. We challenged our chemists, our raw materials partners in Europe and the U.S., and we challenged ourselves; to reach farther, to achieve more, and take a step into what was possible.

With Gossi’s mission defined, they enlisted the help of top ingredient producers from France, Switzerland, England, Italy, Germany, and the U.S., in search of powerful cutting edge actives. They chose the very best from naturally sourced botanicals, marine and biotechnological actives with special attention to purity, efficacy and sustainability.
